40 days and beyond!

"40 days" has always been an significant factor to us; here are some of the reasons why

• Noah’s life was transformed by 40 days of rain.
• Moses was transformed by 40 days on Mount Sinai.
• The spies were transformed by 40 days in the Promised Land.
• David was transformed by Goliath’s 40-day challenge.
• Elijah was transformed when God gave him 40 days of strength from a single meal.
• The entire city of Nineveh was transformed when God gave the people 40 days to change.
• Jesus was empowered by 40 days in the wilderness.Jesus spent 40 days and 40 nights in prayer and fasting in the desert before He started His mission
• The disciples were transformed by 40 days with Jesus after his resurrection.
• Lent lasted 40 days; it started during Palm sunday and ends during Easter Sunday. It is called Quadragessima in Latin and Cuaresma in Spanish.
• There's a saying that "Life begins at 40" (why 40?, isnt that upon birth that life exist on us?).
• There this an activity related to consoling the bereaved family 40 days after the burial of departed love one.
• Man can survive without food for 40 days. (i don't know with this but i cant survive food in a day, bwahahaha!)
